Innovation and sustainability came together when Iggesund Paperboard developed a compostable version of the Dutch designer Charlotte van der Waals’ paperboard vase. The vase is made of Invercote Bio, a bioplastic-coated paperboard that is certified compostable in accordance with the EN 13432 standard. Decorated with motifs from the paintings of Vincent van Gogh, the vase is currently sold as a souvenir at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
